General Questions

Our products are available in Natural Health Food Stores, Grocery stores, and on-line retailers across Canada. We also sell our products on our own website! To find a retailer near you, please visit our store locator.
A medicinal herb consumed raw is typically hard for the body to assimilate. That’s why we have tinctures. For centuries, both water and alcohol have been necessary when it comes to unlocking all the active ingredients of a raw herb and making them fully bioavailable. A solution of water alone is not enough. In addition, alcohol stabilizes a herb and acts as a preservative. If, however, you want to remove the alcohol in a tincture, simply bring some water to a boil. Take the boiling water off the stove, add your dose of tincture, and let the water sit for ten minutes or so. This will evaporate most of the alcohol.
If we do not have a dosage listed for your child’s age, we do not recommend giving the product to your child without first consulting with your Healthcare Practitioner or Naturopathic Doctor.
Taking a tincture on an empty stomach is to facilitate quicker absorption by the body. You can take the tincture anytime up to five minutes before a meal. If you need to take it after a meal, it’s ideal if you wait a couple of hours. If this is not possible, it is better to take your tincture as you are able rather than not at all.
We do not sell our products outside of Canada.
Sedimentation, or precipitation is a normal, naturally occurring event in most tinctures. This can happen after the product has been filtered and bottled and occurs when substances become separated out of a solution. If the product is shaken, these particles can result in the product appearing cloudy. All our tinctures are manufactured by traditional means and precipitation is a natural and safe by-product.
We are proudly Canadian for over 30 years! All our tinctures and capsules are made in Canada with herbs that are sourced from Canada where possible and globally for those that are not native to Canada.

While this product is sold under our Women’s Health Line, it can also be taken by men to effectively treat urinary tract infections

Deep Immune

We recommend giving your child Deep Immune for Kids.
Our Deep Immune for kids contains sweet whey. We do not recommend it for anyone with a dairy allergy.

If you are sick, we recommend stopping Deep Immune and switching to one of our Cough + Cold products such as Virafect or EchinAce. For children, you can switch to Echinacea kids. Once you are well again, you can resume using Deep Immune. To identify the best products for a specific condition click here to view a chart and blog that outlines this.

As long as the contraindications for each of the products do not apply to you, you can take Deep Immune and Strest at the same time.
We do not recommend taking Deep Immune while pregnant or breastfeeding. Instead, you might try EchinAce, which is safe for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.
If you have high blood pressure, we recommend our Deep Immune Licorice-Free formula.
