We are currently looking for:
The Farm Hand – Equipment Operator works closely with the Farm Manager to support facility and farm operations with a focus on equipment operation and supports the Farm Hand roles.
The candidate will have good communication and record-keeping skills to ensure proper and timely maintenance and preventative maintenance of farm equipment. This role requires flexibility in time management and tasking, based on farm priorities and weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in plant identification, playing an important role in harvest inspection and foreign material/contaminant removal.
The Farm Hand works with the of the Farm Manager to execute farm and herb processing activities safely and efficiently adhering to our Good Agriculture and Collection Practices, Organic Principles and Quality Standards. The Farm Hand play key roles in growing, planting, harvesting, curating, and packaging herbs for use in our Production Facility.
The Agriculture Assistant collaborates with the Farm Manager to ensure the oversight of farming activities, staff and workflow throughout the growing and harvest season.
The Agriculture Assistant plays an intricate role in the implementation, development, revision and review of Farm Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). They work hand in hand with the Farm Manager providing essential and communicative record keeping, adherence to Good Agriculture and Collection Practices, Organic Reporting and Record Keeping, Quality Control and collective monitoring and inspection of On-Farm Processing, to ensure the highest quality herbs are produced, packaged and transported.
The Agriculture Assistant works under the direction of the Farm Manager to execute farm and herb processing activities safely and efficiently adhering to our Good Agriculture and Collection Practices and Organic Principles. The Agriculture Assistant play key roles in growing, planting, harvesting, curating, and packaging herbs for use in our production facility.
The Agriculture Assistant has the opportunity to cross train in our Production Facility and Distribution Centre to broaden their skill base and understanding of our vision and quality control, or to create a year-round role for the right candidate.
