The back-to-school situation varies among Canadian families as restrictions ease and safety guidelines are established. Making the decision between the classroom or educating at home can be difficult as many parents are apprehensive about the ability of safety measures in schools to protect their children from getting sick. There’s also the worry about kids being exposed to sickness outside of school, in group activities or on the playground, as socialization increases.

The air has a crisp edge, the nights are cooler, and the simpler, sunny days of summer are coming to a close. It’s back to school time, which, unfortunately, also means it’s back to germs time! With this change of season, the return to a busy, intensely social school environment inevitably brings greater exposure to germs not only for our kids, but also for mom and dad.
