How to take Deep Immune 

It’s simple to add herbal prevention to your daily routine. Just take Deep Immune tincture twice daily in a little water – a shot glass is even better. Or, if preferred – take a dose of convenient Deep Immune® VegiCaps. 

Ideally, Deep Immune® is taken daily as part of a regular routine 3 weeks on, 1 week off*, starting several weeks prior to high exposure times.  

BUT it’s never too late to start strengthening your family’s immune system. Taking Deep Immune® regularly throughout cold & flu season can help to keep your defenses strong!

Deep Immune® Kids 

Getting ready for the return to school is the perfect time to start up daily use of Deep Immune® Kids as a preventative tonic to fortify and balance children’s immune systems. 

Deep Immune® Kids  has been a reliable children’s immune defense for Canadian families for over 20 years and is the winner of the prestigious Alive Gold Retailer & Consumer choice Award.  It is a safe and effective formula that stimulates improved immune function in children, containing only astragalus and codonopsis. 

There’s also Deep Immune® Kids Honey & Berry – an alcohol-free version of our Deep Immune® Kids, with berry juice and honey – offering a touch of sweetness to help the medicine go down.    

For the most effective support, doses should be taken twice daily – ideally in a little water on an empty stomach. Dosages for different ages as follows: 

  • Children (2-4 years): 0.75-1 ml (scant ¼ teaspoon) 
  • Children (5-9 years): 1-1.5 ml (1/4 teaspoon) 
  • Adolescents (10-14 years): 2-3 ml (1/2 teaspoon) 
  • Adults & adolescents (15 & over): 4.5-6 ml (1 teaspoon) 

Taking immunity “shots” as a family can also be a fun way to get kids on board.  

Some kids may prefer Deep Immune® Kids Honey & Berry, for the sweeter taste.

A note on taking adaptogenic tonics

 Adaptogens are plant remedies that help the body adapt to stress and push back against fatigue. They act like a thermostat, constantly working to bring the body into a state of homeostasis or balance by stabilizing its physiological processes.  

With continuous use of these formulas – or any adaptogenic herbs – we suggest an ongoing, recurring cycle of 3 weeks of use followed by a 1 week break to help regulate the body’s process of homeostasis.
